More New Parts on the Way
Well, Just ordered a carb rebuild kit (Original Keihin butterfly. - It's
a kick-only 1200 and starts generally first or second kick. I'm not
changing it.) and new handlebar wiring harnesses just to get all the
buttons and switches working again. Now to wait for the parts to arrive.

The float bowl is sealed with a thin O-ring that loves to stretch. Use plenty of O-ring lube on all parts that will see rubber to metal contact. Last I saw the lube it was on or near the window sill on the bench in the garage in a quart metal can.

I know exactly where it is. The water pump and block heater on the strat use orings as well.
